Hibs v Celtic, Wed 24 May, KO 7.45pm

Another tough match coming up on Wednesday v the Scot Prem champions and probable "treble" winners. I must say the Hoops are looking a tad fragile without Carter-Vickers and Johnston in their line-up plus the psychology around this team is effectively "job done" and they need to complete the remaining "dead rubber" matches while looking forward to a final push to win the Scottish Cup again. Ange also studying fringe players to gauge who remains and who leaves in the summer to be replaced by other potentially better players. Hibs? Well they'd better play with a bit more conviction and belief than previously v a Rangers B team also playing out a "dead rubber". Also, as stated in the previous OP, our main strikers need to "get the finger out" and start scoring goals. Maybe this game will see that position change as there will definitely be scoring opportunities arising in this match. And lets hope Marshall has a decent outing in Hibs goal!! Or be done with it - give young Johnson a game and hand the captaincy to Paul Hanlon? C'mon Hibs!
