Dwight Gayle has been charged by the FA for simulation to earn a penalt against Forest

Anyone see it ?

RE: Gayle charged for diving - 4evaabaggie - 13-02-2019

I am surprised most of the Albion squad haven't been charged for simulation ...... they've being successfully deceiving Albion fans their footballers all season ... more in some cases. Whistle Whistle Whistle Whistle

RE: Gayle charged for diving - Blue Baggie - 13-02-2019

Standard 2 match ban for a deliberate dive. Yes he conned the ref.

RE: Gayle charged for diving - Arcane Astral Aeons - 13-02-2019

having played back the so called penalty
it was obvious that the groundsman had left a blade of grass slightly higher than the rest of the pitch
so gayle didnt see it and his boot got caught up in it...so down he goes
charged with simulation?
retrospective ban to follow?
it got us a point did it not?
plan B worked if in doubt con the ref
we aint the only side that have done it this season

The Grabban "Stamp" studs up was far more horrific and nothing has been said about that.
Football at it's most stupid.

Trouble is if Gayle gets a reputation of being a ‘Tom Daley Diver’ refs will be reluctant to award him a genuine penalty.
Same goes for the rest of the team.
Big Dave needs to stop cheating, fast.

RE: Gayle charged for diving - Arcane Astral Aeons - 13-02-2019

this retrospective bullsh*t is ruining football
yes gayle conned the ref
but if the ref on the night decided it was a penalty then it`s a penalty
retrospective rubbish is also questioning the ref`s ability to actually ref a game
ref saw it as a penalty....
re-re viewing it serves no purpose
what it`s saying is the ref was incompetant
if thats the case why is he a ref?

RE: Gayle charged for diving - Beefy 1965 - 13-02-2019

Some interesting pictures from Facebook have appeared on twitter I'll try and post them later.
The guy on the edge of the box with yellow boots on seems to catch Gayle on the back of the ankle interesting? ?

RE: Gayle charged for diving - Amelia Chaffinch - 13-02-2019

I'd be happier about this if the prima donnas from the "big clubs" got retrospectives, too.
