I was wondering Laugh it was only the 2nd thread on this page and most commonly posted of all forums so not as though it's easily missed by posters

Doesn't help you too much on this thread but if you go into your options you can alter the number of posts per page to reduce the number of pages on the thread. I have mine set to 20 posts per page, so is half the number of pages on the thread than yours. I think you can put as many as 50 posts per page if you want.

As regards the mobile version, this is still being worked on, mainly by the software owners and developers, so is still not where it should be but changes are coming. In the meantime I have found that the green arrow to the left of the title of a thread that has new posts on it, will sometimes work as designed and take you to the first new post since you last visit. Alternatively, I have also done what you did and just post a full stop. This then automatically takes you to the last post, yours in this case and allows you to scroll to other posts. At that point you can add a comment which then appears under your full stop.

Thats a good, well written article!! Its interesting what he say about Drenthe, when he joined it did have a look of signing another JJ, but I think he has shown a lot less of the headless chicken syndrome we saw from JJ. I would like him to add a few goals now to really get him going but so far I think he is a welcome addition to the team.

What do others think about Drenthe? Should we be looking to sign him permanently in January?

Good article alright, long but interesting reasonable balanced read.

I think we should look to sign Drenthe, maybe on a two year deal, he may be infuriating at times but like the report say he try's things that can win games and we don't have anyone like him in the squad currently. The quality is there just needs to be brought out.
Also I would look into trying to use his contacts in the Netherlands to maybe recruit new talents from there. In my view you don't just buy players for there playing ability you buy for what they can do for the club in general.

It does say in the article that Gray doesn't cast players a side !!! What would Madine or McCabe say ?? McCabe may not be good enough so far enough but Madine may be but Gray hasn't given him the chance.

I sometimes wonder if it was the clubs decision not to keep hold of Madine after his off field troubles but at the same time not letting him go for nothing by terminating his contract?? If he does well for Coventry, it would not surprise me if we accept a bid from them in January to make it permanent. If not, then I really hope that he gets more of a chance, we need to know what he can do at this level, and if its not good enough then we need to move on to other players, but unless we play him we won't know!!

As for McCabe, we got him cheap from Rangers due to their situation, it was a no lose signing that hasn't worked out as we had hoped. I can only assume he does not impress in training on a regular basis because his appearances haven't been that bad!!

Drenthe would be a good addition. My only comment is that he is not as effective as Antonio, who we owned, is younger & scored far more.
