We had to pay £200k to Reading because of a sell on clause.

We have also increased the top wages at the club. Last season the top earners were Taylor, Gardner & Kirkland on £12k per week. I believe that Kirkland, Westwood, Loovens, Lees & May are all on (or close to) £15k per week. So I guess that MM has used that money to contribute to the increased wage costs.

westwood or lees for me. Can't decide yet

I'd have to go back and look at all the games from last month because I've slept since then (in fact I slept through most of them Laugh)

Can't believe we didn't even farm some of these kids out, we've a development squad, and one way to do that is by getting those kids some match experience in L1 and L2. Surely they're good enough? if not why the eff are we wasting time on them? I doubt McCabe will ever be allowed on the pitch under SG, so if he's going to get paid to watch, then what is the point? Maybe these kids could find a rich vein of form elsewhere.

under 21's can go out whenever. There isn't a transfer window for them because it's a youth loan

Nice one, then some of them should be getting some action. Is McCabe on a youth contract?

RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - madsteve - 02-12-2014

Westwood should have won it but I suppose that as he won it the last two months some fans voted for the next best player.

Westwood, Lees ... doesn't matter who won it really. I just hope the strikers and midfielders stake a claim on it this month because that'll mean we've had a good month results wise
