I don't think those extra fans will return until we are consistently a top 10 side unfortunately.

No I agree, a good start is great but if we can hang around the top 10 for a couple of months more then we may get more coming. Maybe a decent second half season ticket offer will help as well.

Absolutely, the half season ticket deals never seem very enticing to me.

If we are still up and around the top 10 at Xmas they should sell pretty well.

POTM - Nuhui has done well but is behind Mattock, Lees & Westwood for me for August. Nuhui has been inconsistent but he is eye catching so got the vote off the majority. Doubt that Mattock can ever win a fans award but he is my top points scorer from my ratings for August, just ahead of Lees.

Man City - The big point here is that Wednesday have agreed to reduce the price of tickets to £15. This could have been a £750k cash cow for us if normal prices had been charged but instead we have agreed to a reduction which will give us next to nothing. For years we have cried out for a money spinning tie & then we turn it down. Sure we could sell 10k tickets at £40 & City fans usually buy in numbers for cup ties.

Takeover - In my mind that ship sailed a month ago. MM was just waiting for the transfer window to close before confirming it.

We wouldn't sell 10k tickets, no chance

Think the price doesn't affect sales for this match.

I have loads of people contact me to see if hey can get tickets & several of them haven't been to a match since we played Wycombe. I bet we sell out pretty quickly.

No doubt we will sell the 5000 or so but I can't see the demand stretching to 10

Under 21's won today! Betra scoring a brace to beat Swansea and we only had ten men!

Probably best to introduce him when if we are ...say 3-0 up v Leeds (snigger snigger lol) and there wont be any pressure on the lad and then he can go out there and enjoy the experience, let him do his thing and you never know...he may grab a couple...like a certain Caolan Lavery did last season...v Leeds Big Grin

If he keeps scoring goals SG won't ignore him. I hear Lavery has had a set back with his rehab and may need an op. Might be the opening for Betra.
