RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - Southeyowl - 22-09-2014 I stated in a thread, maybe not this one, that Westwood would win us games this season! He did that on Saturday, although not the best game ever, it was thoroughly entertaining. RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - Owlkev71 - 23-09-2014 Thoroughly entertaining??? War of attrition is what I would call it imo. RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - madsteve - 23-09-2014 I am not sure that entertaining is the correct word. It was absorbing, frustrating yet ultimately satisfying without much quality football on view. If we want to be a top six team, we have to win these type of matches. RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - madsteve - 24-09-2014 "Lees' Electric His old clubs full of eccentrics He's done thing we never expected And he leads our line" RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - dubaiowl - 24-09-2014 Anyone seen this in the star? Any idea who? http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/sheff-weds/sheffield-wednesday-owls-snub-big-bid-as-milan-eyes-progress-1-6857700#comments-area RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - Southeyowl - 24-09-2014 Rumour is it was Derby in a near 2 million bid for Nuhiu! RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - Statesideowl - 24-09-2014 Several million... who the fook do we have worth several million? Honestly now. This is MM trying to get fans to love him. The rumour is that Fulham bid £3m for Lee (started by MM's minions). This is of course bollocks. If so why sell Antonio for half that rather than take £3m for an average injury prone player that we are prepared to let run out of contract at the end of this season. MM must take us for mugs. RE: Sheff Weds 2014-15 - The First Half - Statesideowl - 24-09-2014 It would be sad if that's the case MS. Someone, somewhere, is talking utter bobar though. And the last thing Owls fans need, is smoke being blown up our arses. Westwood, Lee (maybe) and Palmer for me are the only players we have currently worth a decent sized fee, not sure its in the millions for any of them though!! |
