West Ham United have confirmed that striker Ricardo Vaz Te has had his contract with the club terminated by mutual consent.
Vaz Te joined West Ham in January 2012, but the 28-year-old has found appearances hard to come by in recent seasons and has featured for the Hammers just five times in this campaign.
"It has been a pleasure to be at a club like West Ham. It was a fantastic opportunity and I am so grateful for having played here. Everything I achieved here and all my game time and my life off the pitch has been amazing," said the Portuguese.
